Strathcon Fasteners has an opening for an individual who has a desire to work with their hands, managing and organizing stock, along with part time counter sales. The position is open to someone seeking to work between 24-37.5 hours a week along with a minimum of one weekend day.
 
 Ideally a self-starter, motivated, and likes things organized and tidy. Good Computer skills are always valued. 
This opening will be filled with a stable, reliable person, with a desire to be employed at Strathcon for minimum of 5 years.
 
 This position is not open to part time students. Open to mature & young applicants that are anchored in the Comox Valley.

The rapid path to $25.00 per hour is as follows.
 
1. Exceptional Product knowledge
2. Highly proficient with POS Software
3. 100% on three multi-choice tests, unlimited practice tests.
4. No missed shifts for 3 months.
5. Keen to work one weekend day.
6. Flexible on days available.
7. Willingness to fill in on short notice.
8. Consistent early arrival allowing time to prepare for shift start time.
9. Wear Strathcon designated colours and clothing.
10. Wear safe and appropriate footwear.
11. Put your cell phone away at the start of your shift
12. Complete a new customer,  quote and delivery in under 30 minutes with all 8 steps.

Wage starts @ $18.00-25.00, you control the rate of wage increases with knowledge and to adhering to the 12 points above.
